I started playing the ukulele in March, 2006 and have been bit with the bug in a big way. I'd played guitar since I was 11, but I got in a rut and didn't play it much in the last 25 years. Today, I'm playing ukulele for fun as a solo performer and am just starting to venture out to play in front of people. I'd really enjoy being part of a small group to play original music plus Hawaiian, western swing, Tin Pan Alley, old jazzy/bluesy standards, etc. I think the tourists would rather hear this instead of yet another Jimmy Buffett cover band. But you never know.

I record my songs on a Mac using Garage Band, a M-Audio FireWire Solo preamp, and a MXL condenser mic.
